Biographical details:
1995 received MA in Cultural Studies (Japanology) from University of Warsaw (MA thesis: Buddhist Heart Sutra and its early reception in Japan)

2010 received PhD from University of Warsaw (PhD thesis: Shōzaishū, or the Collection of Sacred Assets by Mujū, Japanese monk from 13th century. Translation and study of the first volume, based on manuscript and xylographic print text)
